I’m not going to lie, but after watching regionals and seeing all the hype to the crossfit games it makes me hungry to be in it. I want it! I want to be a competitor who makes regionals and who makes it to the games. One of these days!
Though next year seems like a long time from now, I can’t think like that. I gotta ensure that every workout is maximized, every rest period is properly used and all my food intake are of the proper nutrition.
So to keep things in perspective and slap myself with a dose of reality I broke down the numbers:
If the crossfit games open starts next year on or around 20 Feb 2013, than there are:
1) Only 39 weeks to the crossfit games open
2) Only 234 workouts that i get to use to maximize my gains (workout approx. 6 times a week)
If you look at it like this, at least for me, everything matter. Every food intake, every workout, every sleep cycle matters.
